Born to two deaf parents, Mark Vincent aka (Mr. Cheeba Man) was raised in one of Ohio's most notorious housing projects known as Capitol Park on Columbus' north side during the crack epidemic murder rampant mid 80's. Surviving all the ills ghetto life has to offer, on a shoe string budjet, Mr. Cheeba Man, a small time hustla would create a new life through music for himself during the nineties. When on a tragic eventful day, a known assailant would attempt to shorten the life-span of Cheeba Man by shooting him in the face at point blank range with a 38 caliber gun with hollow-tip shells while holding holding his then 1 year old son in his arms. Attempting to flee the scene, he was also hit in the back collapsing a lung. After spending a self described 9 days of terror in the hospital, Cheeba Man, not fully healed of his wounds would be sentenced to 10 years in an Ohio penitentiary for charges pending before the shooting. After 6 years he was released. Maintaining through those adverse times and perfecting his craft, Cheeba Man has emerged as one of the rap games realist rapper/ producers ever.
